Welcome to Reception

If you're a parent, carer or new pupil, here's what you can expect in Reception:

• A warm, caring environment where your child will feel safe and supported. 
• Exciting learning through play, exploration and creativity. 
• Foundations in phonics, maths and communication to help every child thrive. 
• Close partnerships with families to support learning at home and at school. 

Mrs Sykes, Mrs Robinson, Miss Westwood and Miss Fleming are here to support the learning, development and well-being of children in Reception by each acting as a Key Person for a small group of pupils. The Key Person ensures that each child's care is tailored to meet their individual needs and helps them to feel safe, secure and valued. Staff are available before and after school if you have any questions and we look forward to working in partnership with you and your children.
